A Black Sand player hits over the net under the lights at a night tournament

Tournaments under the lights.

Junior beach tournaments on our home courts, run by BVNE. Registration is on their site, not in the Black Sand app.

Tournament night

Girls 12U to 18U · Moorpark College courts · September 12, 2026

Hosted by Black Sand. Run by BVNE.

We host junior beach volleyball tournaments on the Moorpark College courts. The tournaments themselves are run by BVNE, the governing body behind them, so registration, divisions, schedules and results live on their site rather than in the Black Sand app.

Most tournament days run from midday into the night under the lights. Players from all over Southern California come to compete, and plenty of Black Sand athletes play in them.
